Independent Oxford Alliance Introduces Two Additional Candidates for Oxford City Council Elections

The Independent Oxford Alliance (IOA), is pleased to announce the addition of two more candidates to their existing team for the upcoming Oxford City Council elections on May 2nd. 

Judith Harley and Emily Scaysbrook have joined the Party, further strengthening the Party’s commitment to community-driven policies and grassroots representation.

Judith Harley, who will be standing in Lye Valley, has been a resident of Temple Cowley for most of her adult life. Judith is passionate about protecting and improving public spaces, services, and community facilities, and balancing these with adequate housing and sensible traffic policies which consider all needs, including motorists’. Judith has considerable business experience and wants to support both local businesses and residents of Lye Valley in a rational and democratic manner.

Emily Scaysbrook, representing Holywell, is a longstanding local business owner who champions sustainable, responsible economic development in Oxford. She is committed to improving transparency, accountability, and the democratic process in local government, advocating for inclusive progress that benefits all residents in the Holywell ward and wider city.

These two candidates join the existing team of six members of the Independent Oxford Alliance, collectively committed to representing the diverse voices and interests of the Oxford community.
